A. Change the paragraph into past tense.
Shyam asks his parents to take him to the exhibition at the City Parade Ground. His parents agree. All of them reach the exhibition ground. It is all very crowded. There are several swings and rides, horse- rides, Camel-ride, elephant-ride, and other stalls of eatables. Shyam and his younger sister Meena enjoy camel and elephant rides, They go on swings too. They are fond of chat and rabari. They eat chat and get the sweets packed. Their parents too enjoy this outing with their children.

Shravan Kumar was a devoted and obedient son. He used to carry his old and blind parents for pilgrimage. One day he was passing through the forest around Ayodhya. His parents asked him to bring water. Shravan took a pot. He went to Saryu river to bring water. His pot produced a gurgling sound. King Dashrath drought him to be a big animal. He shot an arrow. It pierced shravan’s chest. Shravan asked Dashrath to give water to his parents just then he died.
