Answer the questions given below:

Ans. Christina George Rossetti has written the poem Uphill.

2. Does the road wind uphill all the way?

Ans. Yes, the road winds uphill all the way.

3. Does the poetess rest in the night? If yes, where?

Ans.  Yes, the poet rests in the night on reaching the inn.

4. What happens at the end of the journey?

Ans.  At the end of the journey, the travellers forget all his pain and feel relax.

5. Who will not keep the poetess standing at the door?

Ans.  The traveller who have gone ahead will not keep the poetess standing at the door.

6. Write the central idea of the poem Uphill.

Ans. In the poem the poetess to start a journey uphill through the wind road. It is filled with difficulties and discomforts, At the end of the journey the poetess finds a resting place to get relieve from all agonies and suffer where she passes while journey.

Pachmari is a famous hill station. The nearest main railway station is Hoshangabad. Discuss in group and plan to visit Pachmari, where you can see a famous waterfall, green hills and ancient caves. Keep the following points in mind while making the plan.

3. Money and other things you will need.

4. Guide book and other things.

List all the names and things after discussing with your group.
