Good manners are shown not only in words, but in deeds as well. The deeds are really more important than the words. In a crowded street, when some one helps a blind man, an old or a feeble man, across the street, through heavy traffic, it is an instance of good manners that
springs from a kind heart. We must similarly show good manners when we go to parks,
gardens and public places. They are spots of natural beauty; and people go there for a little peace and to enjoy the beauty of surroundings. They want to forget for a while the worries of their daily life. It is not right to spoil the beauty of these places by throwing bits of paper or skins of bananas around and rob others of their peace by making noise.
Consideration for others requires that we should do everything in our power to preserve the natural beauty and peace of these places.
