(A) Antonym: An antonym is a word that means the opposite of another word. 
Example: The word " old " has two possible antonyms "young" and "new ".
Match the antonyms:

Ans.Stagnant water is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Therefore we should not allow water to stagnate.

Ans. (1) There are more than 1400 types of mosquitoes. 
(2) Anopheles mosquito has a slender, tube- shaped body, three pairs of long legs and two narrow wings. 
(3) When an Anopheles bites a victim, it injects a secret substance that makes the blood flow more easily. 
(4) The Anopheles mosquitoes survive on or near still water. 
(5) Malaria is spread by the Anopheles mosquitoes.

 A) What steps should be taken to prevent malaria? Write a short paragraph.                       
Ans. To prevent malaria, we need to keep our environment clean. We should not allow water to stagnant in our surrounding. Stagnant water is the breeding ground of mosquitoes. We should spray DDT and other insect killer time to time. We should always use mosquito -net white sleeping. We should get vaccinated against malaria.       

(B) you are Vimal, a student of class V in Government primary school Mohan Nagar. Your father has been transferred to Harda. Write an application to your Headmaster to issue you the school leaving certificate.
